SEATTLE, WA, 6 May 2013 – Concord Technologies and ActFax Communication Software are celebrating continued success for their partnership, originally established more than a year ago. The companies are seeing an acceleration of adoption of their combined offering and already have more than 20 companies using an integrated solution.
The integration between the ActFax server and Concord Fax Online, enables the on-premise ActFax server to send and receive faxes over the internet using Concord’s network, eliminating the need for phone lines and fax modem hardware typically required when utilizing fax servers. The integration enables system administrators to easily deploy high-availability architectures using virtualization and removes the risk of local telephone outages.
Users of the hybrid on-premise / cloud architecture of the integrated solution benefit further from being to deploy local fax numbers around the globe using a single centralized fax server and by leveraging unique technologies such as the patented SureConnect technology from Concord to ensure the highest successful page-completion rate in the industry.
To utilize Concord’s Fax Online service ActFax customers sign up for an account with Concord Technologies and simply configure their ActFax server to use this account. Once this is done, the ActFax server will securely route outgoing fax messages over the internet to Concord for delivery and will similarly receive inbound faxes from the Concord network.
